What are Monthly Active Users?

MAU is the count of end users on your mobile app or game during the month. A user is deemed active (and counted in the MAU count for that month) if they trigger at least 1 session start or event that month or if you send an event linked to that user ID to the Swrve Service.

How do I pay for Flex?

Fees for Flex are payable on a month-to-month basis in advance via credit card.

What happens if I’m on Flex Edition and exceed 50,000 MAU in a month?

Swrve will bill you at a higher MAU tier for that month. Tiers are $100 per additional 10,000 MAU per month. For example, if you had 55,000 MAU for a particular month, Swrve would bill you $500 (base fee) + $100 (additional MAU) = $600. If you consistently expect to go over the contracted MAU volume, you may want to consider moving up to the Professional Edition and lowering your per-MAU cost. How do I pay for Professional or Enterprise Editions?

Professional and Enterprise Edition require an annual contract and fees are normally billed on a monthly basis in arrears. There are significant discounts available for annual and semi-annual prepayments. Each product edition comes with a certain volume of MAUs included. Any additional MAU blocks are billed at the end of the month.

How long can I keep using the Developer Edition?

You can keep using the Developer Edition as long as you are evaluating Swrve for use in your app or game.

Can I try Swrve before I buy it?

You can sign up for the free Developer Edition if you are interested in trying out Swrve or you can sign up for the Flex Edition on a month-to-month contract. If you are interested in the Professional or Enterprise Editions, please contact us at sales@swrve.com. Are there discounts for larger environments?

Yes, we offer discounts at higher committed volumes for annual customers in the Professional and Enterprise Editions.

Why should I use the Flex Edition?

If you are just getting started with one app and don’t have a high-volume user base yet, it may make sense for you to start with the Flex Edition.

Can I upgrade to a higher Edition later?

Yes, you can upgrade your service at any time by contacting us at sales@swrve.com.

What currency will I be billed in?

For US, Canada, Central and South America, we bill in US$. For all other countries, fees are payable in Euro.
